Welcome to Helen Sundin Ceramics, where you will find a collection of handmade stoneware ceramics for both functional and decorative use, including hand-built, wheel-thrown, and slip-cast pieces.

From bowls, plates, and mugs to ornamental ceramics every piece is unique in shape, texture, and colour. I particularly enjoy experimenting with layered glazes and surface decoration to create distinctive finishes and textures.

After originally studying Graphic Design at London College of Printing, I discovered my passion for ceramics at Newcastle College in 2013, later graduating with a First Class Honours degree in Ceramics from University of Sunderland in 2024.  

 

I now work full-time from my home studio, soon relocating to a converted cottage studio in Gosforth, where I hope to offer pottery classes and informal drop-in sessions.
